Sad to say, I spilled some sweet tea on my laptop keyboard. It still works ok but when I go to type something it types "7" over and over again on the screen. I was going to send it back to the company but there sucky warranty doesn't cover keyboards. Is there anything else I can do for it? PLEASE, I'LL DO ANYTHING TO SAVE IT!!!!

You probably need a new keyboard, & it will be expensive. You can try plugging in a regular keyboard. There's almost always a connector for that, but that makes the computer a LOT less portable. Of course, many people don't really carry them around anyway. If you spilled more than a small amount, it may have leaked into the guts of the computer, but hopefully not.

2 things you can do or maybe 3..............
1. Go to a computer repair shop, not the big time ones, but the small neighbor computer shops. They can probably find a replacement for your keyboard on ebay and install it for you. They are kinda hard to replace if your are not a techie person.
2. If you are not travelling with it, purchase a usb keyboard and just plug it in to your laptop.
3. Since it's only the keyboard, you can probably sell that on ebay for a few hunderd and use that to buy a newer one.
Ah so I guess 3 suggestions. Hope this helps.

If it's just the keys that stick, then you are in luck! Spilled wine in a Toshiba laptop and it was dust in 10 seconds. Best thing to do is pop off the keys and wipe underneath as good as possible with a clean dry cloth and then snap the keys back on.

Not sure if this is a viable solution, but if it is just the keyboard... Maybe an external keyboard? They are pretty small these days.

I'm no expert but it sounds like you really messed up. That's why we are not allowed food or drink in the computer room. Sorry.
