to get past the rocket dude you need to beat giovanni in the silph Hq

well i have fire red so if sabrina's gym's blocked by the bad guy
go back 2 slip co. and beat everybody 2 get the card key plus u get a lapras as a present. DON'T GET THE CARD KEY FIRST :(
if u do that u won't get lapras as a present. good luck hope this info helped :)
