I've always been told to wear make up to enhance your natural beauty, but to make it look like you're not wearing any!
Just keep it light handed, neutral, and accent your best feature (eyes, lips, cheek bones etc). Hope this helps!! I'm sure whatever make up style you choose you'll look beautiful!! :)

To look natural, I dot on some foundation, blend in with fingers, then use cotton ball and apply on face powder (I try to have as close the same shade a possible with the foundation and powder). I use my fingertip to apply eyeshadow ( I use powder version most the time lately). I use cotton ball to apply blush, trying to be careful not to apply too much. I put on lipstick from a tube or use lip crayon. I blot off. Then, I'll put on liquid lipstick of similar shade (or you can use gloss), and blot off excess. If I choose to line my eyes, I'll only do the bottom lid where there's lashes, and try to put on as LIGHTLY as possible, so it's not too black. I don't wear mascara myself, so can't help you there.
Doing it how I do it, I found I can look natural with ANY colors.
As for nail polish, refrigerate it to last longer.
Have fun! ;-)

Use three colors on your eyelids. The main color needs to cover the eyelid. Take the light color and highlight your eyebrow. Use the darker color over your eyebone and follow through to the end of your eye. I like using a black eyeliner thinly across the bottom eyelid. I also like using the same color of my shadow on my upper eyelid. It has to be very thin...just across your lashes. I like using a black mascara to lengthen and darken my lashes.
Pinkish beige is great on the cheeks. Put it on the apple of the cheeks. It makes your eyes stand out.
For your lips you should use a light colored lip gloss or a coral colored lipstick. Lipliners are not good.
If you must, you can use a powder. Foundation clogs your pores though.

I don't fancy using liquid foundation. So I apply cream concealer on dark areas before I cover the face evenly with a 2-way cake.
Getting the base right is important. Use whatever that works for your type of skin, before you apply make up.

try using bare minerals, or a cheaper version such as physicians formula mineral wear instead of your liquid foundation. it's better for your skin, and you will get so many compliments on how small your pores are, how even your skintone is, etc.
i like using liquid liner on my top eyelid and using a ton of black mascara on my top lashes. i put white shimmery eyeshadow on the inside corner of my eye and it gives my eyes a bright look. to make it ready for evening, i use a little bit of shadow liner under my eye and some dark shimmery shadow blended in the crease and outer corner.

To emphasize your cheekbones, use a large brush and sweep upwards. Put most of the color on your cheekbones, not on the apples of your cheeks.
