Depends on so many factors but I like San Jose because it has a great airport with lots of flights (so you can get some decent fares) It has a lot of great stuff nearby so you can take an easy trip by car or BART (bay area rapid transit) up to San Fransisco, Berkley or Sausalito or down to Monteray Bay to see the Aquarium, Cannery Row, 17 mile Drive or along Highway 1 and see Natural Bridges State Park (has the Monarch Butterflies in winter) or the Giant Redwoods and fantastic Beaches. Also, because it is so diverse ethnically, you can get Muslim Chinese Food, Guatemalan Hispanic Food, Korean, and any other kinds of food. It is fantastic.
