I found the ending of the movie really really predictable and unclever as well as unoriginal not to mention super anticlimactic.

And there were so many stupid little things here and there like when the girl massages Tom Hanks' head to get him over his clostrophobia, or when they snuck out of the plane and then they went back and showed how they did it and it was really "bluh." The decendant of Jesus thing is overused too, ever seen Dogma? How about the girl being the very thing that they had been looking for all along? Evere seen Men in Black 2? Exactly the same thing!!! These movies came out YEARS before Dan Brown's book. The worst part I thought was the whole twist thing, with the old guy and the bulter and whatever, I thought it was stupid and added nothing to the plot and therefore I found it overly contrived. I didn't read the book but from seeing the movie I decided that it's not the movie that was porrly made, but just a crappy story. Any thoughts? discussions? opinions?

Didn't much like the book either. If people were to think things logically for themselves ,and not believe the fiction that is written, there wouldn't be so much hype about crap books being made into crappier films.

I have not seen the movie, someone bought me the book, but I have not got around to reading it yet. I saw a programme the other week with Tony Robinson which shot it down in flames. Yes it is utter drivel, Hardly any of the "facts" in it are facts at all. It is just a money spinning yarn.

The book is vastly overhyped and I was unfortunate to see the movie aswell. A fat Tom Hanks with a mullett and a decent french actress who should know better...the film really was total drivel, but bearing in mind the source material it was hardly surprising I suppose.

I enjoyed the book, but the movie was a disapointment
but the realization is that people would still see it, me and my buddies could have made a $200 version of it and put it out and people would still watch it.
and so many people were so worried that it is going against the christian faith, but they don't realize that the whole movie is intended to make you think and question your faith, it'll either make it stronger or weaker
it didn't change my faith because the movie was EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE BOOK!!

That Dude enjoyed the book but thought the movie was a disappointment and then said they were exactly the same, what drugs are you on.
