how do i put together a asus a8v deluxe skt 939 mobo with a cm stacker and a thermaltake purepower 500 W?

im building a cpu system with a asus a8v deluxe skt 939 mobo, a cm stacker case, thermaltake purepower 500W PSU, 2 GB ST ram, geforce 6600 AGP, and 3 HD's with HD cooler fan attachments on each one...im also using a amd 64x2 3800+. i put it together but it wont start up...lights work but power wont turn on...

Search on the web on how to build a computer. You may have a faulty power supply. Make sure that the P1 wire is connected properly. Check manufacturer documentation!
