i want to get a razr, but there is a few different kinds. there is the v3(regular razr), then there is the v3i(razr with itunes), or there is the v3x(2 MP camera upgraded with flash, mp3 player, and more memory). i was thinking about the v3x, but the only thing is that its a little thicker. which one do you recommend? i have cingular.

Well I have a Dark Blue V3 with Cingular and I think it's great.

There are a few more new RAZR's that are going to come out (If you want to wait for those) In your position, I think I'd get the V3i since Cingular is close to releasing it. Also, I think the V3x will only work for T-Mobile due to the frequency the V3x uses.

I have a razr and cingular.
I have had nothing but problems with my phone and I mean nothing but problems.
It never works...never charges...turns itself on and off.
I called cingular and they helped me, sent me a brand new phone...still doesnt work.
My friend also has a razr from us cellular and it is doing a same thing.
I would recommend checking out a few more phones.

to break it down,
v3 is a simple phone.no memory expansion or megapixel camera.
v3i has memory expansion,1.2megapixel camera and itunes on some versions
v3x is 3g, has memory expansion and a 2 megapixel cam

My daughter has the 3x, she loves it (she is 10), but I hate it. It is nice to have all the gadgets, but the phone feels akward in my hand when I am talking on it. It is so wide, I like the smaller phones. As far as the different models go, you just have to ask yourself, are you really going to use all the bells and whistles?
