I've just arrived from Auckland a month ago and I should say that Auckland is quite beautiful. Of course, there's the Sky Tower, Albert Park, the Auckland Museum and plenty of inactive volcanoes, but you won't see much of New Zealand if you only stay in the city. Many visitors that I've encountered haven't stayed in the same place for more than a week and you'll see that you probably won't either. If you're thinking of visiting the country, either rent a car or buy a Flexi Pass and stay in a backpackers.

I was born and bred in Auckland. To tell you the Truth, it ain't all that great. Its Just a City for Yuppies if you know what I mean. If you're one of them, Aucklands the place for you.

I suggest you to travel around New Zealand to get a better picture of it. There are so many beautiful places to see and so much to learn and do.

Auckland is an okay place, but I don't see it as a perfect place for Tourists.

I am a New Zealander and I can tell you that the only people that like Auckland are Aucklanders. It's a city nothing more. This country has so many other wonderful places to visit. If you come here please don't spend all of your time there. Get out and see the rest of our beautiful country.

I recently went to New Zealand and spent a couple of days in Auckland. My boyfriends a native New Zealander so I had access to a car and can't tell you about public transportation. We did the usual tourist things went to the Sky Tower to take a look at the view and to the Kelly Tarletons Acquarium. To tell you the truth, it wasn't my favorite place in New Zealand I was glad that i had the chance to see it but I preferred the wide open spaces and nature.

I didn't care for Auckland- Every where great to go was 2 hours away. The best place to go in New Zealand is Queenstown in the south Island. There is lots to do and it is beautiful!!!
