I remember this book where there was few people left in the world and they meet each other, i forgot what it was called and who the author is. Any suggestions? I think the author was famous. I also think Stephen King wrote the book, BUT I am not entirely sure. I always wanted to read the book now I don't know what it's called.

Maybe : The Five People You Meet in Heaven? by Mitch Albom.---See below the description of the story---really a wonderfully written book. Albom also wrote "Tuesdays with Morrie," another beautifully written story.

Left Behind, maybe? It's where everyone dies, but a few people are left, because for some reason they do not go to heaven or hell. It's not by Stephen King, I know that for sure, but I don't know who it is by.

Sounds like The Stand. It was written by Stephen King.
It comes in abridged and unabridged versions. It was also made into an excellent TV miniseries.

Could be On the Beach by Robbie Nevil.....
there is a war and the nuclear radioactivity begins wiping everyone out......until it come down to the main characters.....
they know that everyone else has died and they are just waiting for the radioactivity to reach them...........

could be Swan Song- by Robert McCammon, he wtites like King, and the story sounds a little like swan song, but I read it a long time ago.
