I listen to rap ALL the tym, I love it. But I rele do hate the lyrics. Since wen did it become ok 4 EVERY young person u meet to act lyka "hard ghetto playa". Its so hard to find a decent person that aint a loser nowa days. Im 16 but I dont do the whole "oh u dress lyka rapper n act hard so u must b kool ok I'll make out wit u" thing, n I blame rappers 4 y Im single n 4 u so many gurls get played.
Damn that image! N Im feelin u on the 80's rap, wen they actually talked about **** worth rappin about! <3333

I like Old school Rap better. And everything after Tupac sucks.Tupac before he got famous, had a really good message and had some really thoughtful songs. But let me get to the point. Rap is dead. It's basically a never ending formula: bling+video-hos+cars+pimps+drug-dealers=mainstream success

social awareness+relevance+black-unity=kids won't listen to it.

Drugs, bling, guns, and degrading has been glorified from NWA to the Era of 50 cent.

Old skool rap (however it's spelled) very cool!
The new rap is just a bunch of sell-outs who are after the almighty $$$... totally not relatable to most of Americans.

Plus, the genre usually rips off good music tracks to include in their songs. Gheez - come up with something original, will ya?

It seems the more they used the N word the most controversial they get and soon to be exploited by the government and media. I love the old school rappers like Kool moe dee,Fresh Prince, and Mc lyte!

"Walk this way " is a remake of Aerosmiths rock hit "Walk This way" they even appeared in run dmc's video.

Alot of rap is just so predictable, that its pathetic.

Most are only interested in cashing in and milking the kids out of thier money rather than making music that has lasting meaning.
