(Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor are said to have perfect proportions to their facial features.

the basic shape of the face is egg-shaped. If you figure the width of an eye, corner to corner, multiply that by five, that is the width of the cranium at eye level.

1.......1 eye 1.......1 eye 1.......1

The above diagram shows the placement of the eyes on the ideal face. The out lines represent the cranium, not the hair line

horizontally, the eyes should be placed in the middle between the top of the cranium and the chin line. This seem illogical because the hairline above the forehead fools us, but it is true

The end of the nose should be mid-line between eyes and chin; and the mouth should be mid-line between the nose and chin.

You should be able to draw an imaginary horizontal line between the ends of the mouth and mid-eye.

Ears.- the top of the ear should line up with eye-level and the bottom lines up with the mouth.

Or just look at a photo of Marilyn or Liz

There is no such thing as a symmetrical face. Everyone's face is a little different from one side to the other.
