I've read some interesting things that something we may see in the mirror that bothers us or we hate, others may not even notice it. Is this pretty much true? Do we really worry to much about perfect skin/body?

I think it's easier for us to be unhappy with our imperfections and sometimes stress over it when it turns out to be nothing at all. Yes I think this whole world is too focused on images and appearances. We should just be glad with the body we have. Then again, it's easier said then done. lol.

I would have to say that I worry TOO much about my skin/body, mostly my complexion, though. I don't have acne or anything like that, but I like to look bright and awake. Btw, has it ever occurred to you that when you look in the mirror, you are seeing opposite of what everyone else sees? The mirror shows a reflection of what is before it, and that reflection shows the opposite of what someone standing right in front of you sees. Kinda deep, I know, but I think about that sometimes.

In the mirror you see a ''mirror image'' that is you are reversed. We see you the other way around. Try taking a photograph of yourself to see how you look to others.

Absolutely. The very thing that we think is "ugly" about us may be the very thing that someone out there thinks is hot and attractive beyond imagining. Unfortunately, we don't have the mental ability to scope those worshipers out.

Yes we do. I had a small cyst on my chin. Did not know it was a cyst until I saw a dermatologist about it. I felt when people were talking to me their focus was on it. I was wrong even my doctor said it was not that noticeable.
My doctor removed it and to see a scar...one has to look really hard to see it. (a small one)

I think this might be slightly true.Too bad we can never know with absolute certainty though.it's strange that we know our self better than anyone else. Yet we will never see our own face...Only a reflection of it in a mirror. So sad...
