You shouldn't want to completely avoid fights because fights are a necessary element of a relationship. Just keep them to a minimal of the necessary fights (if that makes sense). I think that if it's something that you totally disagree on, then state it, but if it's something that you could tolerate, tolerate it for a while before blowing up at them. Everything in moderation

Well, avoiding fights is very hard to achieve coz....

1. You have to know everybody's perspective on things so you won't offend them in anyway
2. You have to be dead or disappear in a black hole so you won't offend people (LOL)

Anyways, fighting is a constant. It's what brings balance to the order of things.

Best way to avoid fights, as I have learned is, whenever you're gonna say something or do something, think about it a thousand times before you do or say it. Think about what can be its impression on the person you are conversing with, the pro's and con's... etc....

Well, if you do get in a fight, you shouldn't ignore it...
As much as possible, you have to resolve the problem... talk it out in a calm manner. If the argument is really heated, both should have a time to cool off so you could think about what has happened and how can you fix it....

Hope I helped! :)

Don't totally avoid fights cause you really can't. It's bound to happen some time or another. When a fight comes up speak your mind and work through it.

Check out this website. I don't know what kind of fight you are talking about but it has occurred to me that a lot of the advice in the section "things you can do right now" would easily transfer to many different aspects concerning disagreements in life. http://www.ttcomputer.com/download/stopyourdivorce.pdf

Arguments are healthy, but fights are dangerous.

If both parties are too heated up, take a break , leave, and cool down until you can start talking again.

you will be the bigger person if you just walk away. let that person scream shout whatever, ignore them. they will look stupid arguing by there self, but if they swing be ready to fight back or they will keep trying to come for you. ask that person what problem do they have with you.

Bite your tongue and say nothing. Saying something back, other than agreeing with the person you disagree with is asking for trouble. Just know in your heart that you're right, and time will prove it!
