it doesn't really matter what designer the jean is, but how it fits and looks. a couple of things to avoid are whiskering around the front pockets(which makes your upper thigh look wider), and bleaching in the center of the jean (some people think it makes your legs look longer, but it tends to have a widening effect all the way down).
i'd suggest a mid-rise boot-cut jean, or even a wide leg jean (but not baggy like some guys wear). flare-legged jeans are ok as long as they don't squeeze your upper half.
good luck!

A skinny jean is probably your worst enemy. Yes, they're trendy now, but no trend is good if it doesn't flatter YOU! It'll just make you look pear shaped.
And don't wear a long size if you're not a long size...they'll just puddle around your feet and make you look short (and silly, for buying clothes that don't fit!). If you wear flats, the jeans should break (fold) at your ankle and be about 1/2" from the ground, with heels, anywhere from 1/2-1" is fine and the jeans shouldn't break at all.
A boot cut, flare, or wide leg will be more flattering since it will balance out your thighs. Flares are kind of passe, but a boot cut or trouser jean is always a classic. I would try a slight boot cut in a dark color with some stretch. Paige Premium Denim's Laurel Canyon is very flattering, and Joe's Jeans Honey is cut for girls with a booty.

dark jeans without stretch would be your best bet (jeans without stretch hold everything in and they give your butt a lift!).
getting jeans that are size long make your legs look longer even if they're an average length.
wearing heels with jeans give a slimming look to the leg as well.
you can find a good slimmnig jean in any label, you just have to know what to look for!

I don't know about designers but I do know that stretchy, DARK jeans are the way to go. Light jeans just make you looker larger than you really are.

any straight-leg pant looks good because it takes all the attention off of your thighs. designers... i don't know.. just get them anywhere that has cute, practically priced jeans.
