Proactive works in a few days but you have to have it sent out. I heard use hemmoroid cream on the spot to reduce healing.
This is what I do when my break outs are bad:Noxema cream in morning and before bed, use like a stridex pad over the affected areas several times a day, then treat with benzol peroxide type cream. They usually clear up within 4 days. The swelling will go down too, after that you can use some concealer. The best concealer I found to hide them was cover girl, and they also make some for acne problems so it doesnt irritate the pimples more. You have a week, u use my method it should work. Dont freat!

Each night before bed, ice the spot with an ice-pack or package of frozen corn. Then, use a low-dosage benzoyl peroxide ointment (under 5% or so is best so your skin won't dry out quite so much) on the spot. It should reduce what's left of the swelling and keep new pimples from forming!

Pl. use hudroquinone pr Kojic acid formulations.
If that is only hyperpigment, it will be clear.
