For personal stat, he really done a brilliant job. However, NBA championship is rely on teamwork. He really has no sparkle with his teammate. Even though both Chris Webber and Igodula don't have chemistry with Iverson.
Everyone knows that Iverson won't get a championship ring by his own power. And the management also know the fact that he passed his peak period already. 76ers has the potential to grab the championship. Chris Webber and Igodula are both amazing powerful players. If 76ers want to make some improvement, then they should reconstruct the team focus on Chris Webber and Igodula.
Maybe Iverson won't be trade out this season, but it's only the time issue. On someday, 76ers will realise that Iverson is a burden to them.

It's nothing personal directed at Iverson, as he sells a lot of tickets and jerseys, but the 76ers are a bad team and, in the short term, they won't get any better. With his age and physical play, Iverson has probably peaked and only has a couple more great years left. By the time the 76ers could assemble and develop a good team around him, Iverson would be too old to contend for a championship.
However, there are (at least theoretically) other teams that want to play for a championship within the next couple of years, because they are loaded with stars in their prime and aging veterans. Such teams need to win now, not later, and might believe that Iverson is the missing piece. Their rotations don't offer much playing time to rookies and raw talent, and so they're willing to part with multiple young players in exchange for Iverson. And young players are what the 76ers are looking to rebuild around.
If the 76ers hang onto Iverson for too long, there's a good chance he'll be injured or show the effects of age, and his trade value will go way down.

People believe that because he is the "big name". Every time a team fails to reach it's goal, the star is the problem. When they were winning, no one ever mentioned trades, but when they don't reach the playoffs it's Iverson's fault. Just look at his team, Korver, Weber, Iggy, Salmons, Dalembert, they shouldn't win. They're not any good.

Despite his willingness to absorb punishment as he drives to the basket, he requires a lot of shots to be able to score like he does. That makes him an "offensive liability" since he is the "go to" guy. It be better if he was a third or fourth option shooter because he misses too much. As a fan, I gave him as much a chance as anyone coming out of college but he's just too one-dimensional for me.
Then there is his lazy attitude about practice. If anyone needed it, it's him. Since he hasn't made good on his nickname, and with his selfish reputation, we in Philly are done with him. But I have distanced myself from the Sixers (and the Phillies) because the entire organization is devoted to selling tickets and not fielding a winner. I want a winner. Let's go Spurs!

its all about winning the championship. the 76ers realize that iverson wont win them a championship. so theyre going to rebuild. they do have iguodala, who has the potential to be an allstar. iverson is already on the downside of his career. he has reached his peak and is declining. they want to trade him now while he still has some value so that they can get good players.

the team is trying to go young and webber and a over used body of iverson is far from young. iverson wants to win and philly is far from that word he needs to be traded to a contender for youth so the sixers can build for the future

It's the belief that Iverson has taken them as far as he can, and if they've got to blow up the team, best to start by axing their most expensive and tradable asset.

people think he needs to be traded because although he puts up his individual numbers, the team pretty much goes nowhere............so people think that they can get value for him to help the 76ers win
