The best concert I ever attended was a ZZTOP concert at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky in 1986. Back in the day, you could still smoke in concerts...you can imagine what we were all smoking! Anyway, those dudes put on a real show. The concert started out with a giant sheet covering the stage. As the show started, the sheet was sucked into a giant Sphinx's mouth. Awesome! I'll never forget it.

I saw Kiss in their first reunion tour (in full makeup) in Denver, Colorado back in '97. As a member of the Kiss youth back in the late '70s and early '80s, I loved the concert for sheer nostalgic value. And on top of that, the band put on a damn good show, with pyrotechnics, costumes, makeup, and everything else that '70s glam rock gave us back in the day. I had a lot of fun with that experience.

I saw Pink Floyd do the Wall at Camp Randall Stadium when I was 8.

I've seen Radiohead three times and each time was surreal. The best was probably at Alpine Valley about 4 summers ago.

I went to 2 Bon Jovi concerts in Toronto in January, first time we sat in the second level, but the second concert, we sat right below one of the walk-outs from the stage - he reached out twice, got some nice pictures of him as well.

The late great acoustic guitarist Michael Hedges at Park West in Chicago. I also saw the Stones at the Aragon. The Black Crowes also put on a great show.

Green Day was amazing. On the Pop Diaster tour, with Blink 182 and Saves the Day. Blink and Saves were okay. But Green Day just came out there and put on a show. With real music, real entertainment, and amazng atomosphere. But my favorite concernt ever was Reb McEntire, it was raining, muddy, but she stayed on stage and preformed the longest set I have seen any band/artist do. Not missing one beat.

Green Day. Even though they looked like little bugs from where I was sitting, the concert was still freakin' awesome!!
