Most bugs do not survive that intense trip to the bag, especially if the rug beater attachment is being used. I know because I checked on a spider I accidentally vacuumed.

I think we are giving the bug and/or spider too much credit in the intelligence department. We assume with this question that the bug and/or spider realizes that the (relatively) vast space it is in may be something it needs to escape, then we give it the intelligence to reason it's way out. Maybe by accident, surely not by design could it find it's way free.

Yes. Turn on the vacuum cleaner and spray bug killer in front as you vacuum. It will go in the bag and kill the bug/spider.

i dont know but i know that if you have fleas, you are suppose to throw the bag away... i guess maybe because of the eggs might hatch and then you might get more fleas.....
