Honestly, I would buy my parents a home because they have always rented and have never had anything nice to call their own. The rest of the money would involve other ways I could take care of family members & friends.

I would take my family on a once in a life time family vacation around the world, then find a new home and car, and bank the rest of it for my childrens future.
