1) Using a felt marker and an old box, make a carboard sign saying "I would rather than beg than work for a living. Please help me fed my starving dog." (it helps to have a dog, but most people don't read the sign anyway).
2) Select a busy intersection with a turing lane that traps people for a long time and stand under the traffci light looking pathetic.
3) Collect money form the suckers.
Average income: $100 to $300 per 8 hour shift. Taxes: $0.
Within 3 days, you should be able to pick up a great 17 or even 19" flatscreen LCD monitor. And all for no work at all.

Get yourself a solid, heavy brick. Then take it down to a Office Depot, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, etc. (any store that sells computer accessories will do.) Wait until the place is closed at night. Then throw the brick through a window. Go into the store, and get yourself a free flat screen. Hell, pickup other freebies while you are there.
