definitely not. there will be lots of obstacles to all his plans as he would not have been able to win over the rest of the Malay Politicians. If he has that capability, Singapore would probably not be forced out of Malaysia in the first place

I don't think.... Any person can run a country alone.... Not even Lee Kuan Yew... U need a lot of good team player to make the country develop...
And Singapore is not just because of Lee Kuan Yew... They had Goh Keng Swee, S Rajaratnam, Toh Chin Chye, Lim Kim San etc... in the past to make firm decision and suggestion to improve life of all Singaporean....

Sounds interesting.
But in that timeline, Lee would need to be ruthless, like that asshole prime minister dude man guy. Also, SG was nice and small. I wonder a timeline where Singapore and Malaysia were still on good terms after the separation, with Malaysia sending us resources.

Probably not cause he would had lost after running for one term. Is impossible to have a chinese running as the PM in Malaysia scenario. He won't gain the support of the majority.
I agree with one of the poster above that we need at least 10 or more Lee to run Malaysia. Lee's brain is not any much better or smarter as compared to any of the PMs in any country. Running a country and government depends on a good team work and good implementation of the Cabinet and its people co-operation, etc etc etc.

If Lee Kuan Yew were to be a Malaysian Prime Minister, he would not have been as famous as he now is. Probably just another prime minister.

Maybe not! Singapore successful owed to ancient people hard work, and high tax paid by now. If any country with 4 million population can generate more than 10 billion revenue from tax and duty per month, no need Mr Lee, anyone also can make the country successful.

You cannot compared a chicku with a durian. The population over at Malaysia is many, many times of Singapore, thus it is of totally irrelevant to compare. Even cannot compared to Hong Kong or Taiwan, totally difference type of races involved. Thus, apple is always an apple so thus orange is always an orange.

While one person can make a difference, I don't think your question is fair or realistic. There are many factors besides who is First Prime Minister that affect the status and development of countries. You also have to look at things like how Islam holds back societies and how radical Islam embraces and encourages terrorism, for instance.
