When you buy a new cellphone (I'm with T-mobile) do you have to buy one with a SIM card included? Or can you just buy the phone without it on their website with the webprice?

I want to buy a new cellphone from T-Mobile (another NOTHING else) and not have to pay the activation fee or anything because I already have a SIM card.

yes just go to the store and tell them you already have service and you just need a phone cause you dropped it in the toilet or washed it or something! they will make you pay full price but if you want a phone bad enough that's how you do it and believe me i know I've done it over 15 times!

With the purchase of new cell phone the sim card is given to you for free.

You don't have to.. You don't need the SIM card..

I know that with Cingular you have to have the SmartChip to call people but I think you can still turn the phone on and all that without it.
But with T-M I'm not sure, I've heard before that you don't necessarily need one but it might be like Cingular: you can't recieve or send calls, texts, or pics of anything from your phone but I'm really not sure.

all of t-mobiles phones have sim cards, yyou might be able to get one off ebay w/o it but t-mobiles phones all *** wit sim cards
