But no one ever considers the possibility of gerophilia?

Also, is gerophilia considered a crime in the U.S.?

Gerophilia is not considered a crime in the US. I'm not sure it even exists!

In any adult-child encounter, sexual or non-sexual, the pressure is on the adult to be the responsible party. They are the ones with the size and years of experience and knowledge! With knowledge comes responsibility.

Children, especially young children, do NOT have the emotional capability to handle sex. They do not have the MENTAL capability to handle ses. They often do not have the physical capability to handle sex; it can permanently damage their ability to have children in the future! That is why such actions are classified as "criminal abuse".

Because if you break down the term, "paedophilia" you will see
Pedophilia, paedophilia, or pædophilia is the paraphilia of being sexually attracted primarily or exclusively to pre-pubescent or pubescent children. Persons with this attraction are called pedophiles.
In contrast to the generally accepted medical definition, the term pedophile is used in some countries to denote significantly older adults who are sexually attracted to adolescents below the local age of consent[1], as well as those who have sexually abused a child.

There isn't any reason WHY an ADULT SHOULD EVER have a SEXUAL ENCOUNTER with a child. EVER. Children are not meant to be seen as sexual gratification objects.. HENCE, paedophilia.
Regardless if the child is 'gerophilliac', the ADULT should maintain control

Sick question!!

We assume pedophilia in an adult-child sexual encounter because, and listen carefully, that is the definition of PEDOPHILIA.

rape of an old person is a crime simply because its rape, pedophilia is a crime because the child cant legally consent to an adult action. even if the child consents or even starts the relationship, he legally cant, so the adult is at fault, so its not a good idea to mess with anyone under 18.

Actually there are over 9,000 casses of gerophilia, and I agree that if a younger person does something to someone who doesnt want it an is older too, they should get in trouble too. I think that now a days socieities always says that younger people cant do things to people who are older because that person can stop them. Its a sad world. Maybe you should do some research on the subject.

Because regardless of the aggressor or victim the right-minded adult should know better. Most children who are sexually aggressive are the result of sexual abuse, so are you insisting that it's okay for that situation to exist if you weren't the original abuser?
