Either you or another Steve has posted this question before. If it was you -- do you expect different answers this time?
Thank you for being sure to establish that you are straight. I presume that you are not among those who, if I mention my partner will tell me that I'm pushing my homosexuality in your face.
That said.
I doubt you would realize that I was gay if I weren't wearing an equal rights pin -- and if you didn't notice the picture of Jonathan and I on my office desk. I 'm sure you wouldn't notice that Jonathan was gay if you weren't told.
On the other hand, if I were younger and not taken, the two younger men that are friends of ours that I would find attractive as a single young man are both fairly feminine. Both are very slightly built, gentle, sweet......
I never picked my partners due to how "masculine" or "feminine" they were -- but rather on who they were as persons, and being male -- to a degree on their looks AS REGARDS HOW ATTRACTIVE I FOUND THEM -- NOT HOW ATTRACTIVE SOMEONE ELSE FINDS THEM. Another words, Both boys that I would like if I were younger and hadn't been in a committed relationship for almost 15 years are very attractive -- and have personalities to die for - but are feminine. Yet, Jonathan is not feminine at all. Go figure.
I have no reason to presume that others do not share my lack of interest in the stereotypical behaviours that are thrust out as being highly important by many insecure straight men.
And that includes the lesbians that so disturbed you.
And yes, you did go "Dr. Phil" on us, demonstrating exactly how much psychology a person with no terminal degree in that field usually understands when they are judging a situation as if they were a professional.
Thank you for sharing.
Kind regards,
Reynolds

The same reason why you like the way your wife looks or the way your wife likes the way you look.
Your "scorned" comment.... I think you may be a little "scorned" yourself about something to be wondering about something that's obviously none of your business. Why do you like the type your wife is? Preference, right?
If you gonna try and go DR.PHIL, make sense first.
Just thought I would be Dr. Phil as well for a minute myself.

I was just having this conversation with my bf the other day. I thought that if I am attracted to women then I would want a nice, feminine girl not a girl who looks like a guy. Doesn't make sense to me either. Goes the same way for guys too. I don't get it.

Got your wife hot didn't it? That why you're bent outta shape about it? And you were doing WHAT in the "primarily gay" part of town?
Just going a little Dr. Phil for a minute there.
It's okay. We understand.

many femme lesbians are attracted to butch lesbians which are the women you are speaking of that appear boyish or manly...
it doesnt mean in any way they are or ever were attracted to men... its just a generalized type of lesbian that tends to be more masculine..
if you think about it... there are bikers, gothics, jocks, hippies and on and on and on labels in all all identifications of sexuality...
there are women and men who are more attracted to bikers...
so its really a personal prefrence which often has nothing to do with the sexual identification itself
LOL you must really have quite the ego if you think that women place that much importance on males.... you must either be really really young or really really old... this is 2006...

Ah as dumb as I think this question is, I cant get mad because alot of lesbians ask the same question. I guess its up to preference. I guess they just like their women masculine. I am a stud and the women love me! I really think guys are jealous because we walk around with women, ya'll could only dream of having.

What in the world gives you the right to say who should love who, or to judge other people on their physical appearance.
I sure hope all your children look exactly like you, because you might leave them behind at the beach if they don't.
How hateful can you really be?

I dunno. I think SOME not ALL women go lesbain because they are dykes.
For others it doesn't matter what your partner looks like. The point is the partner might be boyish looking but they still have a vagina and that's what arouses a lesbain.

Legitimate question, but I don't know. I guess it's the same reason why I like lesbians that tend to look and act more feminine, but how a person looks or chooses to dress shouln't really matter should it? ......
