isn't there a way to just trust her? my nine year old does a better job at asking to go to certain sites. I'm not unreasonable, just would love some honesty.

I believe you need to set a password so she is forced to ask you to get on the computer.

When my computer turns on. It goes to a long in page for MSN users. I have no internet access on the guest page. So if someone did by pass the code, they couldn't do anything since only thing they can do is boring games. whoppy do.

If I get up from my computer for about 10 mins, It will go to my screen saver. If I wiggle the mouse, it will ask for password page again. Privacy protection.

Only two accounts is my fiance's and mine.

I also set internet password as "remember" so all I have to do is click to it to sign in (I have sllow dial up. but when I had cable and DSL at previous house, I had the same password log on set up).

What you need to do is change the internet password and don't keep it on memory. If that is how you have it set up.

You also keep record of her date and time on there so, obviously she is to blame for being on. Especially the sites. Bring it to parents attention if it is that bad of sites and problem.

You can block sites or set up firewalls. Have a good Anti Virus protection and cookie protection.

There is some virus's out there that will cost you a few hundred in repair. Some virus's a new Drive and new equipment installment. Plus, many hours of fixing it.

I recommend you nipping it unless you want to make a hole in your pocket.

Myspace? So what. 3/4 of the world who have internet access does. However, as long as she is being appropriate is the main key.

If it comes down to straight annoyance and she won't leave your computer alone. How about you take the main power cord and either lock it up or take it with you?

My mom had to do that to my step sister when we left when I was about 15 and she was 17. She would get on w hen we gone, search tons of stuff ane virus.

Because we are actually capable of being superior. Maybe she is right, maybe she is wrong. I have left shrinks babbling when I ask them how are adults superior when they say adults are superior. Many adults credit me as superior. I'm only 13 and am a genius on an adult scale. I for one am sick of the haughtyness of adults thinking they can make all the rules and that they are superior in every way!

Because we are, b*tch! Stop thinking your cool sh*t because you caught your d*mn little niece making a myspace. You probably scare the living sh*t out of her with so many restrictions. Stop being a b*tch and let her enjoy what she wants. At least she's not doing drugs!

Be the smart one... Put a code on your computer so your neice can't get on those sites without you putting on YOUR code. My son used to get up in the middle of the night to invade my computer then swear it wasn't him. I coded the computer from the control panel and stopped him where he said he wasn't.

I think that we all thought that we were so smart as a teenager, it's kind of funny to catch them though isn't it?
