I feel sorry for venom. The symbiote was supposed to be good, and even though it wanted to bond to Peter Parker, it realized that with great power came great responsibility, and it learned that from Peter! So when Spider man exposed himself to the sound of the cathedral bells to get rid of the symbiote, it left him and even rescued him rather than letting him be exposed to the intense sonic vibrations that would have killed Peter. Then the poor thing had to go and bond to that bad guy who hater Spider man! No wonder it went insane..

The Carnage guy was kind of a disapointment in Ultimate. I have to say, Green Goblin (who, if you ask me, had the biggest change). I mean, in Ultimate he's freaking huge, all green w/ horns, spikes and such, and hurls fire balls. Much better than the purple robed pumpkin bomb weilding crazy man of old.

Well, I like Spidey himself alot. He's smart and hilarious and been through some crazy situations. I like his smart-a** dialogue best. I liked Gwen Stacy also, I would have liked to see her alive for a little bit longer.
*spoilers* She was (violently) killed by Carnage. Did I mention violently?
Also, she's probably going to be ressurected in the upcoming clone saga

Venom's kinda neat too, but I'm surprised that he hasn't come back yet. Nobody stays dead in comics!
