I would get a case and a the dock to recharge the batteries.

You should get a charger, especially if you travel a lot. Also, there's an fm tranmitter that also charges you iPod. It's really great if you spend a lot of time in the car. I also recommend getting one of the little film things to go over your screen so that the screen itself, which remains uncovered by most cases, will not get scratched. Enjoy your iPod!

ipods have so many different things they can do, why not buy all the accessories to enable all the features? i would get an FM trasmiter, like an iTrip or something, and a little speaker also...and anything else you can do to pimp it out

If you are into fashion than many different covers to match your outfits. Or the workout armband of you work out. But you can find really cool stuff anywhere especially Ebay.

I have two things I can't live without. iHome which is a clock/radio/iPod docking station. I use it as an alarm clock. I also have a FM transmitter for my car.
