I am disabled and recieve SSI im staying in hotels whenever possible. If you know anything that could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the Department of Social Services and put yourself on the list for Public Housing. Also since you are receive SSI you should also get food stamps and medical benefits. If you are Mentally Retarded/Developmentally disabled/Mentally ill, you can also contact OMRDD and they will hook you up with a case worker that will assist you with getting an apartment and any other benefits that will improve your life. You obviously have access to a computer you can type in OMRDD in search site and you will get to their website, find the local office and call them and tell them of your situation and they will set you up with an agency.

Get off the computer and take ke su's advice. You need to make the effort to get out the yellow pages for the local government for help. Churches can also point you in the right direction. The help will not come to you. You need to reach out and make it your job to resolve your situation.
Also you need to try to get a good education to provide you a decent job that you would be able to do.
It may not be easy but there is a way out of this if you are willing to pay the price in seeking it out, getting an education and making any legal money you can . Cleaning houses, answering phones or even volunteering somewhere where you can learn from others and get your mind off you own problems.l

Contact a local church in the area, see if they have food assistance program along with help in finding a place to stay.
You need to get on to the HUD housng , there is usually a long waiting list.

How are you using the computer? In a library? You should go to a homeless shelter in your area and they can help you find a place to live.

Are these people stupid. You are on a GD computer. Help yourself stop going to the gov and churches for help. that's the problem with us . Why cant we just help ourselves. Stop being a baby and get a job. Wash a car, wash a dog,sell your computer and take a bath.

Go to the police station. They stay in touch with all the charities and they will help you. Keep your chin up. Life is good. You will see.
