My friends say I am a prep because I wear Abercrombie,and long necklaces,and big sun glasses and Aeropostale. Does that mean I am a prep if i wear all of that stuff.

it sounds like you have good taste. so what if it is on the preppy side. prep comes from the prep school idea and shows you carry yourself with class and grooming. try not to be snobby but keep your style your friends r just probably jealous

Well, I am very judgemental of preps and stereotypically yes, but it's also the way that they act towards other people, they are very snobby and stuck up usually walking around like they are better than everyone else.

Do you wear that stuff because other people do? Are you wearing it to be popular? Do you want to be preppy? Do you like it because its comfortable and you like the way it looks on you, NOT because its Abercrombie & Fitch or the other popular labels? I wear a pair of Oakley Riddles not because they cost alot but because they are comfortable and great on the back of a Harley. Hope this helps.

I dont know if you're a prep or not but I can guarantee you're paying way too much for your clothes!! Here's test--does your nose turn up at the sight or thought of second-hand stores?

NO!!i wear stuff like that somtimes and people don't call me a prep.You can only be called a prep if you act like one.You could be like a tom boy and wear abercombie and stuff..doesn't mean your a prep.If you act like girly girl like"oh my gosh, i broke a nail,oh my gosh,what am i going to do??!!"then yeah your sorta a prep.

Well i have different meaning for prep i think of prep as a style, such as urban,gothic,punk,vintage,classic ect. So yeah you are a prep

The STYLE itself is known as the preppy style, but.. well.. do you go to country clubs often? I would say if you're not conceited,spoiled, ANNOYING, like those girls on My Super Sweet Sixteen, you're not a "prep."
