Somebody lets seniors not take finals?? Seniors at our school can get out of them on the same terms as the other grades... A & no un-excused absences or B with only 2 excused absences. Of course, the seniors don't take finals seriously sometimes, but the teaches most certainly do!

We had to take finals as seniors in high school. But the way our school was set up, seniors got out of school about 4 days earlier than everyone else so we had to take our finals during regular class the week before the normal finals week. And mostly taking finals depended on the class. Some classes just had us do a project, others had us write a major paper, and some had us take traditional tests.
And even when you are senior, and people tell you your grades don't matter anymore - you should still do your best... =)

I was a senior in high school and i had to take finals. I even graduated a couple years ago so dont think that a lot has changed. I guess it depends on the school or state that you live in.

At the high school where I work, they not only have to take finals but they need to put together a senior project that involves research, a written report and oral one, too!

They used to, but some schools quit doing it a few years back because they felt it was too much pressure on the students.
Pressure? Do they not realise that real life has more pressure then some silly little test?

For our school, seniors can skip some finals if they have perfect attendence.

i had too when i was a senior in high school but not for math but was not hard
