me an by bff were having some bumps in our relationship for a while becuase we hung out together too much (becuase of her). a little later we got into a REALLY BIG fight for a REALLY stupid reason so we didnt talk for 2 1/2 weeks and ignored each other. i made it clear that this time i wouldnt be the one to clear things up and that she had to call. i was doing great, having a blast, hanging out untill an hour ago she called and siad she was sorry she hurt me, at the moment i didnt really take time to actually listen to what she said but just said okay, i was kinda stunned becuase it was random. then she asked if i wanted to see a movie tonight and i said i couldnt but maybe tommorow, she went out of her way to let me know she couldnt because she had plans. i got really mad and went on aim to clear things up and she really made it sound like she didnt care and that she actually needed the two weeks to breath, i wanted it to but i wasnt straight about it. should i be mad?

You should really learn to take an apology for what it is worth. Not paying attention while she was trying to talk to you and then backing out of doing something with her kind of shows that you really aren't a friend at all. If anyone should be mad, it should be her. But really, playing games like this only causes hurt feelings and regrets down the road.

AIM is not the best environment to clear up such a mess. When it comes to problems in a relationship, sometimes it is best to arrange a get together for lunch or something similar to see if things can get cleared up. When you're talking in a chat room, you can't see facial expressions and body language. You may think that she is still upset when she really isn't because the lack of visual or verbal clues. Talk it out over the phone or in person. Maybe she does care.

I think that you are wrong here. This girl was the bigger person and called to apologize to you and try to mend the friendship. Why are you mad because she has plans and you don't? You are being very immature.
