disk cleanup works great...one question what have you got that is using that much space? im a photographer and i use three times as much space thena normal person..and im not even near the half way mark.
I have a lot of programs for antivrius and spyware and dishcleanup those work great in cleaning out the space
also if you have large files that you want to keep but don't use often..burn it to a cd or a dvd :) thats what i do too

Unless you have a really old computer your hard drive shouldn't be able to be filled easily. In any case you could buy a second larger hard drive and install it to increase storage space. If you're a gamer or media person i would also update my RAM and get at least a 300 GB hard drive.

first of all use disk cleanup, then make sure to defragment your hard disk.also when no program is running go to to temp folder in local settings, clean all the files, also clean all the restore points but the latest one.I'm sure u will get a lot of empty space.

Use disk cleanup to compress old files, cleanup temp files etc. and start shopping for a newer bigger hard drive.

Make sure you empty the trash bin after you delete everything to free up the space.

Go download this software, it is called CleanUp, made by Gould. He was tired of having to pay for stuff like this so he wrote his programm and gives it to us for free.

You sure. You've removed every TMP file, every HTML page from your browers, you've looked all your TXT files for instructions to things you don't need. You've defraged.
Short of that, buy a second drive!

Remove programs you no longer need (how big is your hard drive, normal people shouldn't be able to fill them).
