Yeah, and news polls aren't slanted and photographs are never doctored. And they'll never admit to fabricating news for ratings.

Yes, I do get sick of hearing that the media is liberal. Last time I watched it didn't sound very liberal to me and I oughta know, I'm liberal. If the media were liberal I think I would hear my views represented more often than not and the truth is, that just doesn't happen.

I have asked, quite sincerely, for someone to point out the "liberal bias" in the media. I'm open-minded and if it's there I'd like to see it. Invariably I get the same argument which is this: anytime the media says something a conservative doesn't like it's because the media is liberal. Now, based on the ideals of a free press set down by our founding fathers we should all hear something we don't like everytime we "tune in" to the media because not everyone in this country is going to agree with us and everyone in this country is entitled to their opinion and has the right to talk about it.

If you don't like hearing the views of someone other than yourself maybe you should try being a communist, then you can hear your point of view (the one the state tells you to have) all the time. Now wouldn't that be nice?

When I watch the news or read a paper liberal views seem to be in short supply and I find that strange because their are a lot of us so if anything, we are under-represented in the media.

The liberal bias isn't something yet a propaganda plea from the neo conservatives into attempting to sway others into their Bush brainwashing. Does each and every person surely have self belief that liberals rule the media different than for Fox? No. maximum persons of the first public sees the certainty. Conservatives might like for shows which contain Rush Limbaugh to control the perspectives of the first public. inspite of the undeniable fact that, the first public has heard relating to the drug addictions and bias of the Republican audio gadget. they have not got a communicate board to base their data; as a result they blame the press and hopes the uneducated buys into their ploys.

Yes i get tired of both right and left lying many things. Neither group gets an award for always telling the truth but the best thing you can do is you own research on the internet to get the truth. Its out there, just keep looking. I do not believe there is a liberal media.....if so, why is Fox news so highly rated? if you look on the radio talk shows you find Limbaugh, Hannity, O'reilly......the only liberal media i can find is Air America....that is just one station!!!!!
So don't believe everything you hear and keep asking good questions like the one above.

It's no big suprise. They're living in a Fantasy Republican Land the rest of us can't even see. Sometimes they are in a negative mood and want something to complain about. They watch something other than Faux News and then proceed to kick the dog and put nasty comments on Yahoo Answers about the liberal media.

Somebody needs to develop some reality eyedrops for them. I'd be willing to volunteer my time holding them down if someone else would put the eyedrops in.

Over 40-plus years, the only thing that's changed in the media's politics is that many national journalists have now cleverly decided to call themselves moderates. But their actual views haven't changed, the Pew survey showed. Their political beliefs are close to those of self-identified liberals and nowhere near those of conservatives. And the proportion of liberals to conservatives in the press, either 3-to-1 or 4-to-1, has stayed the same. That liberals are dominant is now beyond dispute.

And which lie is this that you speak of? The one about how the networks nit pick of every little thing that Bush does, or the one that let get Clinton away with everything? You, where they don't question the fact that Clinton didn't know what is meant? Or the rare comments of his perjury, and the fact that he would never practice law again....well, maybe not never, but for a very long time? but when Bush says something wrong, you hear about it for days, and jokes are made of it on all shows......which are you talking about?

The only thing that is liberal about the media is their love for money. They are certainly not conservative about how much they love money. They love it very much.

They report what is favorable to advertisers. Because advertisers will be less conservative, and more liberal, with their advertising budgets if they think everyone will watch the show - and see their ad.

And yes, I am tired of hearing it. If they were "liberal" then why did they report bad stuff about Clinton (when his popularity rating was always up) and good things about Bush (when his popularity is always down)? Because big corporations like Bush...and big corporations pay for advertisements.

It's interesting to note that most of the major media corporations are owned and operated by Jewish people http://www.rense.com/general60/stun.htm.

Coincidentally, the Neoconservative movement was started by Jewish people - mainly in NY who drifted from the far left to the far right. Now there are plenty of neoconservatives that are not Jews, but they are bankrolled by them. One has to wonder if they know just the right way to report things so that neither side feels represented....in order to maintain confusion and division.

My eyes and ears don't decieve me. The vast percentage of the mainstream and cable media are liberal. Now it doesn't matter what they are, but when it influences their hard news coverage and they deliberately slant the news, it proves my point.
The Pew research group did a study (and other groups results were very similar) and 85% of the media identified themselves as liberal.
Facts don't do what you want them do, sometimes, right?
News is not supply and demand, news is news. The major media blatantly slants the news to the left, thats why Fox and the internet news have skyrocketed. And Fox has a mix of conservatives and liberal whereas CNN has almost no conservatives.

Yes.. But I'm also sick of the whining the political parties and their supporters do when speaking of their opponents.
As a business aimed at supplying information, the view they choose to show in regards to political news is what best represents the vision of the owners, or directors.

Because you label something a lie does not make it so. I don't think it is necessarily a conspiracy....I just think those with a strong left wing bias have heavy financial investments in media.
