Since Vinyl Records for some of us have been with us through good times and bad times of our life. Even packed up and moved on with us when we grew up and have family's of our own. I was just curious what was your number one record? And why?
I have kept quite a few Records I bought brand new back in the day. When I play them, yes I still have a record player, it takes me back in time. I do not no which is my favorite? I have a Paul Simon which I still play quite frequently.

I grew up after LP's were around much, but I was at a friend's house listening to Arlo Gurthrie on LP, and it was so cool. I totally wanted dub it with all the scratching and such. I bought the cd, and it just wasn't the same.

Pink Floyd's " The Wall. "

It was one of the last great albums where the artist made the album great and not just 2 or 3 songs with filler material like today. Not only that, it was a 2 record album.

Nat King Cole's The Christmas song for, for sure, Christmas. yet even in the previous that, The Halleluja chorus from Handel's Messiah on a Chrismas Eve heralded that auspicious day.

"Rainbow Seeker" by Joe Sample. I remember my dad (who's a jazz fan) playing that album all the time when I was little and I always loved it. I still listen to that album today. :)

Donna Summer's "Bad Girls." Don't play it (or even have it) anymore, but just about wore out the grooves in high school.
