Getting a degree in business is great but you MUST go on to a masters to start making money. If you have an inclination to becoming a plumber and a way to do it they do make a lot of money with a LOT less schooling. A good plumber who will become a card toten ace WILL go to a qualified plumbers or pipe fitters school and make lots. Good luck

Licensed plumber as you have more of a guarantee of getting a job that pays good and there is always going to be a need for it.
As all businesses are volatile these days, there is no such thing as job security, even if you are good at what you do. There are lots of people with business degrees waiting tables.

Honestly, living in Michigan, I know many liscensed Unionized plumbers who have no problem making it in day to day society. In fact I wouldn't mind making that kind of money and I run a restraunt. What you need to understand is that the hours are from 7a.m. to 5p.m. and would give you ample time to get your business degree with no financial hurt. Just a little more work.

You will always have a job if you are a plumber. Can't you be a plumber with a business degree?

As is my understanding:
Plumbers get paid a lot of money, but it takes a long time through the process of being someone's lackey. Learning side-by-side.
Whereas with a business degree, it all depends on where you get a job afterwards. It could be a lot, or you could be cooking french fries.
