You could try asking him, "so should I take this as a serious question or not?" And then he can tell you how to interpret it. All guys are different. Some want to have more kids, some really DON'T want to have more kids, and some are just curious what you think. The only way to figure out which sort of guy he is is to ask him (or to be really psychic).

It used to be that asking about this was serious, but nowadays is just small talk most of the time. Good Luck, stay away from people that want to have kids from the geckco, they are psychos.

I think that it's just conversation. I don't really think that men talk about having children as a way of looking for a relationship.

Depends on the relationship, really... if it's serious like exclusive your guy's thinking of expanding the family, perhaps?
Otherwise... it's just a way of gettin' to know you better. Although I felt you gave a wise answer=)

That depends on how intimate you are with this guy.
And I hope it is just a small talk.
Children should have FATHERS. Not just any man to produce them.
