It is easy enough to tell if your evaporator coil has frozen up...you will be getting little or no air through your ducts. If you have plenty of air flow, and it's nice and cool, your drain line is most likely plugged. It may be obstructed right next to the drain pan, and this would explain why there is no water in the drain line.

Grab the biggest Shop-Vac you can find. Go outside by the condensing unit and find the end of your condensate drain. Connect the Shop-Vac hose to it with duct tape for an air-tight seal. Crank on the Vac and let it operate until all obstructions are removed.

For future maintenance, it is helpful to install a PVC "T" with a cap to allow you to pour a cup of bleach down the line once a month to kill algae. Always rinse the line out after this process to avoid chlorine fumes from entering your home.

I hope this information helps. Good luck and God bless you.

Sounds like the AC is not tilted proper 15 degrees toward the back or your drain hose is clogged. First make sure it's tilted toward the back then if it still leaks have it checked by a freind who knows basic mechanics they should be able to clear the drain hose for you for free.
