Did anyone else see that Roush offered Mark Martin $8,000,000, to race another year? I think he will take the deal, it would be great to see Mark race another year.

I think Kluever isn't ready to take Mark place. If you look at his track record, he has finished 25th in every Busch race in the last few weeks. He is no where near ready to replace Martin.

i think that he will stay. I dont think that the money has anything to do with it. Mark was left very wealthy when his dad died a couple of years ago. So if he comes back it will be because he loves to race.

There's a rumor that Martin is going to buy Robert Yates Racing.
He would then take Matt Kenseth - whose car Martin owns - with him to form a three car team with the #38 and #88 teams. Roush's offer would now seem to validate this rumor.

I think Mark will stay. I hope anyway because that Kluever guy isn't ready to race cup. He hasn't been doing too well in Busch. Plus Mark is my dad's favorite driver, so if Mark races in cup next year my dad would be happy. :)

I like Mark, and I do not want him to leave. I would like to see him and Yates do something together. I am not shore what, but I think if we loose Martin and Yates both, that will be the end of old school racing.

I like Mark Martin's racing. He is great but I am not sure about another year. I would like to see him win though!! I dont want to remember him like Petty, Jarrett and Waltrip. Great racers at one point but not anymore.

i think he will have to talk it over with matt and arlene. i wonder why!! i see in the schedule that m. kennseth is to appear a few times for auto. sessions with tony stewart and jimmie johnson, wonder if he's leaving?? todd kluever is supposed to take his seat next year, maybe jack doesn't think he's ready to move up yet. i am sure mark will pray about it and discuss it with his family, and maybe nascar will benefit from his presence for one more year, (i hope so!!).
