I have a 1970 Cutlass S. This was a limited edition in that year. The body is GREAT!! It just needs a transmisson and a new frame. The miles on it are 67,000 original miles ( I confirmed it with the BMV). I know that it will cost a pretty penny to rehab it ( some parts will have to be shipped to Ohio for me from CA), but I dont know if it will be worth it in the end. I do have a reliable vehicle that I use daily. What should I do??

If you really like this vehicle as think you do, then go for the gusto and do whatever repairs you need to. The end result will be you sitting in something you enjoyed putting back to its classic well being and making you feel great taking it down the road. I'm in the middle of putting an old 1958 boat together. And in the long run it's going to look good on the water as your car will on the road. Take care and have fun with your new toy.

HOPEFULLY this is a real SS, because it is very easy to order the SS's and put them on cars. Also, I hope that this is a two door, not four door vehicle. As the value is much higher for the two door cars.
If the above is correct then, does it have good and original interior, and are most or all items working?
I would then suggess that you go to ebay and look up their cars like yours and see what they go for, that should be your best idea.

First, it is a limited edition.......second it is considered an antique after 20? years. I think it would be worth it since the body is great. Since you have another reliable car, you can take your time in rehabilitating it.

OK, transmissions are easy to come by....350 turbo. Now, I don't understand why it needs a new frame. What's wrong with the frame? At any rate, with a body in good shape, yes, definitely worth it. Good luck.

Yes, the car has low miles, and is worth something restored.
I would stick the money into it. But..... is this your only vehicle?
If it is, I would find a daily driver replacement.
