Absolutely, no! I think it's only emphasising the stupid competition for the points and the levels. I don't give a damn what level you are. I post questions because I need either help or opinions. I don't care how many points the person who helps me has, or what level he's reached with those points. I'm disappointed with the site for this modification.
ADDED LATER:
I totally agree with sarahmuffin4. The validity of a person's opinion does not depend on how much time they spend answering questions in this site.

I don't mind, I just hope people on level 1 are not prejudiced because they are only level 1ers.
I don't come on here all that often as I am usually working (when I could not be bothered working anymore I come on), so I'm still a level 1 person. That doesn't mean my advice is any less relevant than someone on level 5 or whatever,
