I've been having my computer since last christmas and I haven't tried to burn a DVD till' now. I uploaded movies using p2p file sharing but I don't know how to burn a movie to a DVD Disc. I am constantly burning CD-R's using Windows Media Player but I don't know how to burn a DVD+R. Is there any other programs I could use and what format's do the File's have to be in?

The Other Programs I have are:
Real Player
Creative MediaSource Player
InterActual Player
InterVideo Win DVD Player
and Sonic

I guess SONIC comes with your DVD-RW or CD-RW rom. First you gotta make sure if your rom is a DVD-RW rom. See any label on the outside from it.

Insert your blank DVD+R disc in. Then windows will prompt you to start it with a program. Choose "Sonic". Or you can open e application "Sonic" first. So from "Sonic", steps are easy in there. See for the options to burn video.

Use Windows Movie Maker. It should be installed on your computer if you have win xp sp2. Or you can download it from microsoft. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/moviemaker/21/videofilters.mspx
