You don't approve of them? Don't look at them. If you are worried about kids getting on them, turn on the paternal controls on your computer.
When you start talking about blocking sites from the Internet, you are opening a whole can of worms. And they aren't pretty.
The first thing is, who decides what gets blocked? I myself don't go surfing for porn, but who decides what is porn and what isn't? And after that is done away with, what's next? How about sites that might offended people's faith in some way? I don't care for Pro Basketball. How about we block those as well?
What I am getting at is this:
When you start censoring, it will never stop. Someone will always be offended by something. Today it's porn, tomorrow it could be anything.

I agree on you also. If your favorite porn site's blocked, contact the Internet company who managed [probably sponsored] your Internet connection. But I'm afraid this isn't going to work. Kids today could be a click away from a porn site with their fingers [that's if they only search for porn] and Internet company's all over the world usually block these porn sites. Some Internet company's don't even block them. But others block.

The Constitution gives a level of protection to pornography (other then child porn) and you cannot legally completely prohibit it. However you can put some regulations on it - such as age restrictions. I think that if you don't approve of them then don't look at them. It's not necessary that you seek them out just to criticize them.

I think that porn sites are for consenting adults who want some fun, porn sites should not be blocked, but minors should not have access to them.

yes..although its not safe for kids especially to their morals, take in considerations those people who want to view things which invigorate them and making them feel the joy and pleasure of life, and aside from that,if you will ban those sites you have already deprived their right as a human.
if you are after the kids safety, dont let them go to these sites and its now the responsibility of the parents to guide their child.
remember there are many kinds of people living here on earth dont be sellfish ok

Heck no! I love 'em! If you don't like them, don't look at them. I'm sure there are many things you do on the Internet that I would find distasteful, but I'm not going to tell you that you can't do them (unless they violate a law). I simply won't do those things.

Yes! But it's a huge billion with a B business through out the world. It does nothing but destroy the lives of those who view it and those who perform for it. People who watch it then want to act out what they see and they think they can control it but it controls them. Stats have shown that it leads to addiction, drugs and other forms of perversion that destroy families and lives. Yes! get rid of the filth for ever.

you can develop the habit of tolerance. we are typically proud to life in free and freedom loving countries. how can you propose to black something because you personally don't like it?
besides - and you better accustom to that fact: it is porn (or better: the bandwith which is used for porn) which made internet access this cheap!
