In the 1980's the U.S. policy for Iraq and Iran was to arm Iraq so they could be at war with Iran and kill each other as they have done for thousands of years.

After the 1st Gulf War U.S. policy was to arm the Kurds so that the could start a civil war in Iraq and kill each other each other as they have done for thousands of years.

For retaliation of 9/11 a plan was put into place to start a civil war in Iraq that would eventually spread into another war between Iraq and Iran.

The U.S. government used the plan of weapons of mass destruction as decoy for an invasion of Iraq toppling its government. Once the U.S. had control over the government its plans for civil war were put into place with the decoy of "building a democracy" in Iraq.

Every student of history could tell you that this is an impossible mission. The Sunnis and Shiites have been killing each other for thousands of years. The U.S. knew all along as soon as it relinquished its grip civil war would start.

Before the civil war begins an army must be trained and equipped. The army battalions that the U.S. is currently training is not to keep peace in Iraq, but to go to war with Iran only they don’t know it yet.

Once the civil war begins, look for Iran to enter it. At this point the U.S. will supply armor and weapons to the Iraq army just as it did in the 1980’s under Ronald Regan.

Now you know the truth.

Thanks for your view. Unless I get proof otherwise, your view is as valid as my own or anything I get in the media.

I've been around the block too; I remember the 80s, 90s and I know my history well enough to know that yes, the middle east has "for thousands of years" been at this killing.

You paint a horrible picture, and some folks are uncomfortable with it I think because they can also add the up numbers, and see it might be true. And it's an uncomfortable possibility.

For my money, I think it's that much and even _worse_ than you painted. I'd like to add to your treatise, but it's not worth getting killed just to share my opinion. I think I can say this much safely: there are a lot of Americans uncomfortable with this war! And I think it's a shame the American people have no say about the start, duration, or ending of any war America wages.

Yea, I know we get to vote for people. But once the individual is voted in, we're left with the decisions of the Generals and the Commander in Chief--a few people's choices--just like any world government....it's out of the people's hands. Heaven help us then.

God bless...

Try this on for size.

1. We defeated Iraq in Gulf War 1.
2. By doing so, we dictate the terms of their surrender.
3. The US decided that Saddam would not be allowed to have chemical, biological, or mass-destruction weapons.
4. Saddam agreed to allow UN weapon inspectors.
5. Saddam refused to comply.
6. The UN passed many resolutions that they refused to enforce.
7. By breaking the peace treaty, it was null and void. We then had the right to do anything we wanted to him. AND AT THE END OF THE DAY, THE COUNTRY WITH THE STRONGEST MILITARY RULES THE WORLD. UNTIL THE US IS DEFEATED, WE ARE IT. IF WE WANTED TO WE COULD INVADE ANY COUNTRY WE WANT.

8. This shows we had 1 legitimate reason to go into Iraq. I personally heard Pres. Bush state that a reason why we are going to take out Saddam is his refusal allow inspectors into his country.

YOU ARE A CONSPIRACY KOOK WITH TOO MUCH TIME ON YOUR HANDS AND NOT ENOUGH FACTS OR LOGIC.

At this point, we must finish the job to help Iraq stand on its own.
