Examples: For me it would be Phoenix, I know what it is like to go from the girl next door to being bad. I was able to redeem myself thank goodness.

I guess it was always the Hulk for me. I could relate to the powerlessness of Banner, of having anger inside that I had no concious control over; of wishing some other part of me could stand up and take care of me when I was under duress or in need of protection. Even though Banner hated his alter-ego (except for the times when he had control over it), every once in a while he actually appreciated being able to transform into the Hulk and kick some butt.

This might sound strange, but I have a lot of sympathy for the Hulk. He just wants to be left alone, most of the time, and people assume that since he is so powerful he must be evil and destructive. Then they attack him and he goes on a ramapge to get away, and they take that as proof that he is evil. But I remember a few years ago when he was going through some tough times and I never realized that the Hulk is just like a big kid, a kid that has been picked on and abused a lot.

Spider-man. He isn't the most popular person in his school life, he's picked on, he's nerdy, he has worries and he has a good heart. He also doesn't get what he wants despite all the good things he does. I can also relate to Phoenix because I have a dark side to me too, I can also go from good girl to bad girl. Only when I'm angery and hurt and sad brings my dark side up and about. And it's hard to get back to good girl mode after I let myself erupt. I'm made of Joy, love, care...and Rage. When I'm happy a song sings within me too, don't ask me which song!!! Lets just say it's the score that played in X3 when Jean kissed and killed Scott.. When I'm angry I'm shrieking inside and wishing that there was a powerful/visual way for people to see it. It feel like there's fire in my eyes too.

Wolverine. because is smaller and weaker than a large type of the villains that he is going up hostile to, yet he's a stress to be reconned with and his ferocity is feared with the help of all. also he's a complicated personality that has taken a lengthy time period to totally boost and he remains no longer finished. No marvel sport exists without Wolverine and he has spawned diverse comics on himself.

I kind of relate to Cyclops. We both wear glasses, and like him, I sometimes feel like I have to maintain tight control on myself, or someone could get hurt badly. I'm also pretty grim, most of the time, and since my first wife was such a "winner", I think I have some of his lousy taste in women too. I mean, Dark Phoenix and the White Queen? Hotties, but psycho.
