I am a christian. I don't walk around talking about it all the time. I don't push it down other people's throats. I like everyone regardless of their religious beliefs. I like people that don't have religious beliefs. It's like some of the people on here are obscessed with their hatred of christians.

It's not you, so please do not take it personally. If more christians were like you this world would be a much better place. The name calling has gotten out of hand. We would be better served by Yahoo if the whole religion thingy was eliminated.

I don't understand it but if you ever are in a rotten mood and ticked off. Go over to religion and read some of those questions. It's odd. I have been around many people from different parts of the world and US all my life and I have never been so shocked or amazed as the day I came to this site.....
I think because people can hide on the net they are more willing to do things like slam another person or they feel free coming out and telling about their beliefs.

I think there's a quote that goes something like "A few bad apples can ruin it for the rest of the barrel". or something like that.
Basically, what I'm saying is, people who "bash" Christians (or any religion for that matter, Islam being another popular one) often only focus on the bad ones, and ignore the good stuff that others do. And the media tends to only portray the nutjobs, which only helps to feed this mentality.
Best advice I can give is to ignore the ones who refuse to listen to reason. Didn't Jesus say something about casting pearls before swine? It kind of relates.

There are people in this place who would slam their own mother if given half a chance---I've seen them come aboard and slam themselves ---so---whatever it is that you take a stand on--when you bring it in here you better be fairly well founded because there will be a dozen people testing you on the stability of your principles before you get through typing !!!

I think its because politics and religion are very controversial and people like to get everyone fired up. There are also people on here that aren't educated about the Bible, but think they know everything. I'm not really sure, maybe they just aren't happy with their lives and want to make others uncomfortable.

Its like the politics section here. People like to fight over whose better. This is not a popularity contest. They need to get a life and quit judging other people for the life they choose to live. They also need to agree to disagree.

i don't agree with you as hatred doesn't just comes with religious believer. It has got to be the initial ideology which shape the whole foundation of the relion itself.

well..it cuts both ways hon. I've been verbally attacked, physically attacked..and on HERE I've been harassed and threatened..through IMs and Emails.
i just ignore it.
so not all of you Christians are all that sweet either.
