The Astros have 5 scheduled video games left, plus one ability makeup activity if mandatory. in the event that they win all, they have 87 on the season, and can ought to play the makeup. The Mets are already at 87, and the Brewers are at 86. If the Mets do no longer win lower back, and the Brewers win no greater desirable than one, then the Astros ought to play a makeup activity against Chicago (relatively in Houston, this time) on Monday 29-Sept. to work out in the event that they end the excellent season in a tie for the NL wildcard. If the Astros win, they could be in a tie with long island, maximum suitable to a playoff activity on Tuesday; if the Brewers additionally win one greater, there'd be a three-way tie that should take a minimum of two days to untie. (understand that, to date, MLB has in basic terms had an Astros coin turn (to ascertain tiebreaker activity web content) against Philadelphia or Milwaukee. a sparkling Houston-long island coin turn might must be held.) MLB has not at all yet had a three-way tie, yet does have a defined approach for breaking it (2-activity adventure). So... Mets wins, Brewers wins, Astros wins, what happens n/a, n/a, 86 or much less -- Houston continues to be living house 87, 87, 87 -- play makeup activity -- if Houston wins --> NL wildcard 88, 88, 87 -- play makeup activity -- if Houston wins, 3-way tiebreaker 89+, n/a, n/a -- Houston continues to be living house, long island and Milwaukee take care of wildcard in fact, the Astros go with a win streak, and characteristic the Mets and Brewers play relatively, relatively poorly right here couple of days. long island performs the superb-in-NL Cubs (2 video games) and Marlins (3). Milwaukee performs the Pirates (2) and the Cubs (3). Houston is dealing with the Reds (2), Braves (3), and in all likelihood the single against the Cubs. I ever-so-incredibly think of the Brewers have the finest street, even one activity lower back of the Mets.

If the Stros can begin to consistently bat well they will be a really dangerous team in the playoffs. This is the point in the season where they usually start their playoff run. Lets see if it happens this year. I hope so!

I hope not, but I thought it was stupid of them to pay Roger Clemens so much money and expect that he alone could get them back in the race that late in the season...they should've told him the beginning of the season or nothing
