I like them, toy with them, troubleshoot them, and build them. I'm also in the Army for nine years. My girlfriend might think I'm weird, but she's Japanese, so probaly not. They seem to like the nerdy type. : )

But, at the least, I get FREE stuff! And, at parties, I am the one who knows what to do immediately, when the LAN goes down during serious gaming sessions.

Not at all dude. I got into computers when I was about 15 years old. Now I'm 25 and make a pretty good living as a software programmer.

How is that weird. I like computers and I work with and on computers for living. I consider myself a nerd sometimes or a "special individual" Bu definetly not a weirdo.

Learn all you can and be great at it. I am 46 and my job consists of running a press welder or a bender all day.
You are still young and have a long working life ahead of you. Spend it doing something you enjoy.

Absolutely not! I think it's great. Besides computers open up so many new options and so many other great things. I'd learn all I can about them.

no, i got my first computer a PC XT. Now i'm married with kids, and with an even bigger and faster computer i still tinker with it like a mistress :)
