Ahh, the subtle art of temptation is getting people to do what they really want to do, while absolving them of responsibility for their desires...
In other words, if people ask you to "twist their arm" so they can do something, it means they can absolve themselves of wanting something, and feel good about it because they're only doing it because you twisted their arm...They make the mental journey from wanting something that part of them thinks they shouldn't want to being a good friend and doing something because you really want them to...Temptation and absolution all in one.
