Only if your parents were wrong about you. If they know you well and see you on a daily basis, it's great they were able to help you understand yourself.
I know a few people (all women for some reason; guess I know more girls) who said the same thing, and felt they had been given a wonderful gift, because it was done through love and acceptance.
I hope your parents were right, and told you in a spirit of love.

Huh? You mean you are gay and they beat you to the punch or you're not gay and they think you are?
Your question is a bit confusing!
If they told you before you had a chance to tell them, I'd say no, it's not wrong. Actually, you probably feel some relief don't you?

ARE you? Or are you just confused? Why do your parents think your gay; do you act feminine? hang out with mostly girls?
You need to decide for yourself if you're gay; don't let anyone else tell you you are. Only you know how you feel. Personally, I believe it's wrong to go ahead go through with it, but that's beside the point, and the feelings aren't your fault- if you even have them.
I guess, what I'm saying is, you can't let the world tell you who you are. Your parents shouldn't pick your career, tell you where to go to college, who to marry, where to live, or what your sexual orientation is. You decide; not them. Don't accept it as truth just because they told you.

You have wise and observant parents. They are loving and accept you for you.
But are you trying to say you are not sure you are gay? If so, then ask your parents to see a counselor who specializes in identity issues who will help you to figure out who you want to be.

Lol, no. I wish I could have been so lucky. My mom saw the signs long before I did, but she denied them even harder. Funny thing is, the one person that knew was my best friend. When I told her I was bi, she was like "I know." and then when I finally came out and said I was gay, she said "Yeah, I know."
So, go figure!

Hahaha my mom knew I was gay way before I let myself accept it...she never threw it in my face but when I was ready to come out she made it alot easier that I ever could of imagined......granted I still puked 2 times in the process of telling her and my stepdad

Ha! My dad was more sure of it before I was sure, but I had a good idea. He took me aside and told me he knew, and that I should never let it stop me from doing anything I wanted in life.
I miss him so much, now that he's gone. Such unconditional love and support, every child should have.

no it is not wrong that is just how it is becasue some parents who truly know and love there children see things that there children dont see right away like dont jump off the table tim you might break your leg the parent sees things that tim does not see
