If you ever have another problem like this, know that each letter in front of the Standard unit, ie. the meter, the Gram, has a multiplier in front of it. The "k" in kilometer means 10^3 which means you multiply the number of meters by 10^3. you can probably easily find the rest of them, ie. Tera, Mega, mili. etc.

therefore,
multiplying 1) by 624
we get

624 * 1m = 100cm * 624
624m = 62400cm
